- Innova Vita Fitness Health and Wellness Course launches
April
- First engineered AI prompts created and implemented to allow students to use publicly accessible AI tools (ChatGPT, Meta AI, Google Gemini, Qwen AI, DeepSeek, etc.) to get feedback on course activities and get personalized advice from public chat bots in nutrition, fitness, goal setting, and health habits.
- Major visual overhaul begins with most major lessons being updated with enhanced HTML for visual appeal

- First AI debate prompts added to give chat bots instructions to act as a debater with students to challenge them on common fitness and nutrition myths
- Added an interactive activity that deep dives how insulin works in the "Understanding Type 2 Diabetes: Risk Factors and the Role of Exercise in Prevention" lesson
- Added an activity that explores health habits and how they help prevent CVD in the "Understanding Cardiovascular Disease and Its Risk Factors" lesson

- Added more short knowledge-check quizzes throughout the course.
July
- More pictures added for visual variety
- New AI Podcasts added to help break down longer lessons and add instructional variety
- Overhauled the "Consuming Health Related Media and Research" module to remove redundancies and make the topics related to research more accessible for students.
- Added a new lesson about the "Null Hypothesis" and how it applies to fitness and nutrition research as well as critical thinking.
- Added more guardrails and instructrions to the course's AI prompts to better guide AI chatbots in their responses to students
August
- New module added: How to use AI tools For Health And Wellness
- This module teaches students to make their own engineered prompts like the ones in the course and also teaches fundamentals of AI Deep Research.
- Added a new lesson in the "Weight Loss and Weight Management" module that expands the guidance provided for setting realistic calorie targets for weight loss.
- (8/31) Added Investigation Activities
- Investigations teach students how to use AI Deep Research Tools to learn topics introduced in the course at a much deeper level allowing for true scaling of the the educational content to the level of the student. These investigation activities have ten suggested topics a piece (4 beginner, 4 intermediate, and 2 advanced) to allow students to self-select the difficulty of their research efforts.
September
- (9/2) Added a new lesson in the "How to use AI tools For Health And Wellness" module that teaches how to add guard rails to prompts to limit their scope and encourage increased safety in AI generated advice.
- (9/2) Updated the context section for the engineered prompt "Decoding Research: A Plain-Language Engineered Prompt for Understanding Studies" to better guide the AI in keeping information and explanations to the appropriate level of complexity.
- (9/12) Tightened up the formatting/clarity in the directions for engineered prompts. Added more refined guardrails to keep AI responses within the scope of general wellness education.
- (9/22) Added "Building Your First Periodized Program: A Step-by-Step Guide" to build on the Periodization lesson and provide more concrete examples.
- (9/28) Spanish language translation begins. This will be released as a separate version of the course.
October
- (10/8) Made minor terminology (for consistency) and grammar updates to the "How To Use AI Powered Health and Wellness Deep Research" and "Adding Guard Rails To Your Prompts" lessons in the "How to use AI tools For Health And Wellness" module.
November
- (11/17) All podcasts have now been translated into Spanish for our upcoming Spanish release
- (11/20) New lesson added for basic muscle anatomy. Has a basic muscle atlas, descriptions, exercise examples, and a terminology section

- These case studies are designed to get students thinking more critically about how to apply the informaiton in the course. They are designed to be used with chat bots for realtime feedback.
