The beginner course is in pre-production currently and may be released sometime in Q1 2026 unless it gets moved up in the pipeline. It is much shorter than our flagship course due to the focused scope so it should have a much shorter development cycle once it gets going. It will also be hosted on the Thinkific platform like our flagship course.
The goal of this course is to provide a workout plan that beginners can follow but more than being simply a program it is supported by robust educational content to help users create a fully comprehensive training program for themselves. The typical user will be creating basic fitness programs and weight loss workout programs using our curriculum. The course will largely be teaching the current best practices for cardiovascular training, resistance training, basic mobility training and corrective exercise for common muscle imbalances, and self-assessment methods to objectively determine progress. Right now, the estimated lesson count is going to be somewhere around 20 with supporting activities and an estimated 3 AI integrations. It will share some of the foundational principles taught in our flagship Health and Wellness Course which will make it a little less expensive than our other course offerings. It will likely release at a $100 price point across all platforms.
Like our flagship health and wellness course, this will also have AI integrations that will help users workshop their sessions and learn the skill of basic program design as well as perform investigation activities similar to those in our Health and Wellness course.
Right now, assets are being made that will allow for us to generate quick exercise examples for users. We are implementing 3D animation to streamline production and to avoid being limited by equipment and logistics (lighting, cameras, actors, etc)
Recently we used the trainer model (I named him Tom) in a blog post (click here for the article) to demonstrate three exercises. It is effective but we are adding an extra layer of polish to the animation quality for use in the course that has more natural movement and physics simulation for when he interacts with the environment. The video below is our test that was incorporated in the post.
This course will focus on muscle building. The goal will be to provide lessons that support both training and recovery. It will cover a wide variety of topics related to how to construct your training sessions, training week, and how to plan out several months ahead using periodization (common practice in strength and conditioning). Like our other courses it will be evidence based, it will have a exercise demonstrations with a trainer (probably Tom, maybe a little buffer to fit the theme), and AI integrations similar to those seen in the Beginner Program Design course and our flagship Health and Wellness Course that is already available.
This course will focus largely on specific fitness needs of senior citizens across a variety of fitness levels. This will include things like modified senior strength training for those that need modification, as well as recommended routines and training structures for those that don't need significant modification to their movements. The focus will be on performing exercises that support active retirement, quality of life and health span (not just life span).
There are many others planned behind the scenes but we only want to share the ones that are a few quarters or up to a year out.
New podcast summaries are going up soon. Expect these summaries to trickle down for our longer posts across Q3 and Q4. These are short podcast episodes of Health Habits Unlocked that give the TLDR for our longer posts without cutting out important details. Here is an example where it is already being used (Creatine for Body and Brain)
In Q3 we started an initiative to implement activities to test readers in their critical thinking and comprehension of our articles. For example, "The "Knees Over Toes" Myth" has an armature that users can play with that allows them to change the proportions on it to see how torso, femur, and tibia length can all impact individual squat mechanics. This makes a complex biomechanics topic much easier to understand.
An example of activities would be "Navigating Scientific Literature in Health and Fitness" That challenges readers to identify high quality sources of information from example case scenarios that are provided. They are instructed to look for positive indicators of quality as well as negative ones to help them make more informed decisions when reading online or engaging with various forms of media.
The remainder of Q3 and into Q4 of 2025, we have plans to incorporate more simulations and activities into otherwise text heavy posts that could benefit from more hands-on elements.
Our most recent series is the beginning of a behind-the-scenes of our course development. This is planned to be an nine part series covering all major modules in our flagship Health and Wellness course.
We have several posts in the works about topics related to AI in health and fitness and more niche topics like senior fitness. Right now the only 'organized' series is the behind-the-scenes mentioned earlier. There are also plans to add more posts combating some of the most common fitness and nutrition myths. We will also be adding more nutrition focused content as well.
This is a big one but now that we have our 3D avatar trainer, Tom, it should be a lot easier to create a robust exercise library for our visitors. We want to include high quality demonstrations with a variety of equipment. It will also provide users with the muscles worked, planes of motion, joint actions, etc. So it will be a useful resource for more advanced visitors to our site. This is being developed in tandem with our courses due to the demonstrations that are being developed for them.
One goal of Innova Vita Fitness is not only to be a health education leader in the United States but also worldwide. To that goal we plan to start obtaining VATs necessary to sell our programs in the UK and EU regions. To get started with GDPR compliance, this year we migrated the site to a platform that allows for cookie consent. It's a small step but an important one when looking at the big picture and getting out to a more global audience.
One of our more ambitious goals is to work with public health departments to license our course at the state/province level to distribute to the population. This is a long process that involves making a lot of contacts in public health as well as making sure our course is ready for regulatory compliance.
